Onewheel Racing League

2024

The following rules and regulations are intended to provide consistency within and between the Onewheel Racing Leagues’ (ORL) events, and work to support a safe, enjoyable racing experience for all involved.

It is each and every competitor's responsibility to review and accept these rules. Failure to do so may result in disqualification, suspension or banning from all ORL events - and/or other consequences deemed appropriate by ORL Officials.

ORL Board Regulations:

In order to participate in ORL-sanctioned races and qualify for ORL points, riders must adhere to ORL board requirements. Riders must use a stock Future Motion powertrain in ORL-sanctioned races. The powertrain consists of batteries, motor, and controller. Modifications to the tire, rails, bumpers, and footpads are permitted.

We acknowledge the value of communal contributions and appreciate any feedback. Should a rider find significant errors or gaps in the coverage of the following guidelines, wish to suggest additional or altered language, or simply require further elaboration, they may communicate with the Committee via email: orl@onewheel

  • In the event of unsafe weather (rain, hail, lightning, snow, etc.) the Race Director may delay, advance, or pause the event until conditions improve to compete safely. If conditions don’t improve the event director may cancel the event or schedule a ‘rain date’ in the future.

  • No refunds will be issued due to weather-related cancellations.
