Oak City Shred Fest has become the most loved and talked-about event in the sport because volunteers step up, share their superpowers, and help spread the stoke. If you want to be part of something special and help build an unforgettable weekend, this is your call to action.

Event Setup & Breakdown

  • Load-in and load-out assistance

  • Tent, banner, and signage setup

  • Course and activity area preparation

  • Trash can to dumpster duty

  • Trick Comp setup and breakdown (must be approved by the build team)

Registration & Check-In

  • Ticket scanning and wristband distribution

  • Answering attendee questions

  • Volunteer check-in support

  • Retail sales of Oak City merchandise (T-shirts, hats, jerseys)

FloatTrack & Riding Areas

  • Course marshals and spotters (must be approved by Jon Brown Actual)

  • Maintaining safe riding flow

  • Communicating with race staff

  • Reporting directly to Jon Brown Actual

Food & Hospitality

  • Beer and beverage service

  • Keg monitoring

  • Late-night snack cooks (reports to Supremo’s Mom)

Media & Content Support

  • Livestream assistance

  • Videographer and photographer support

Special Duty Volunteers

  • Fire Watch overseeing fire performers

  • Supremo’s Assistant (must be approved by Supremo)

  • Additional special assignments as needed
