Qualifying
Upon registering, racers will be given a Qualifying window (specific time to race)
Failure to be on time for your qualifying window will result in a DQ
If you would like to qualify with more than one device, you must purchase an additional race ticket for each device (EUC, VESC, GT, Pint)

Timing System
Zone4 (Same as used at Floatlife Fest)
RFID band must be worn on lead wrist during ALL races
Endurance Race
2024 will be an A-B race. There will be EUC, Oneheel’s and Eks8s starting at different times.
Endro Race is not a part of ORL
Endro Race is not a part of Amped Electric Games

General Rules
ALL RACERS MUST BE SOBER
No alcohol
No drugs
Helmets are Required
Wrist Guards are Required
All other pads are highly recommended
No Violence or Harassing of any racers or coordinators
This is not a Contact Sport
Race Number will be worn on the racers leading thigh.
Zone4 RFID band will be worn on the Lead Ankle
Leaving the course counts as 100% of the racers tire leaving the designated lane
Follow all commands given by Race Director, Festival Director, or their designees

Board Restrictions
ORL PRO Category - Board must have a Future Motion, Inc.-produced motor,
controller, and battery to be considered a Future Motion, Inc.
ORL POINTS
QUALIFYING TIMES COUNT TOWARDS ORL POINTS
13 - 50 Men
10 - 20 Women
10 - 20 Legend
10 - 20 Clydesdale.
MENS: Top 4 competitors in Mens will receive their respective ORL placement points. 5-12 will be awarded based on fastest semi final race time on the FloatTrack.
WOMEN/LEGEND/CLYDESDALE: Top 3 competitors will receive their respective ORL Placement Points. Places 4-9 will be awarded based on fastest semi final race time on the FloatTrack.
Depending on the amount of competitors in any given category. Some may be blended with both OPEN and ORL racing simultaneously. If that occurs, ORL points will be awarded in order of qualifying competitors.
Qualifying
IF you are racing in multiple classes, you will have SEPARATE chips issued, please be sure
to have the correct one (We will label/verify them) when Qualifying.
Racers will each have Three Attempts to set a Qualifying time.
In the event a faster racer encounters a slower racer on the trail, the slower racer must give way.
After qualifying, competitors can view the app to see if they have moved on for Saturdays racing.
Injuries
If you encounter an injured racer, stop and render assistance or alert
race/medical staff immediately.
If during the course of racing a racer has a fall and is injured as to not be able to
remove themselves from the racetrack. All racing will be HALTED and a restart
of the remaining racers will happen after sufficient rest period.
If during the course of racing a racer has a fall and is injured to the point of not
continuing racing, however the course remains clear. Racing will CONTINUE until
the completion of that race.
Course markings
If you see course markings broken, loose, or missing please alert race staff
immediately.
Re-Runs, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Examples below.
If a slower racer impedes the lap time of a faster racer
Track obstruction.
Race course was compromised by removal of barriers.
Semi-Finals
Races during the semi-finals will consists of 3 racers per heat. Racing Two (2) laps of
FloatTrack. Winner is decided by whomever crosses the finish line first while in control of their PEV device
No B lines allowed during Semi-Finals
Seed order Heat 1 = 1,8,9 Heat 2 = 2,6,7 Heat 3 = 3,4,5
Semi final racers will be awarded points based on the race time of their heat if not moving on to finals.
Finals
Races during the Finals will consist of 3 racers per heat.
No B lines allowed during Finals
Endurance Race
The 2025 Endurance race will be a lap based race on a predetermined closed course.
Be courteous when passing, call out when you can.
Misc. Operating Procedures
Drone / AV Malfunctions
No Drones are allowed in the air at all during race times unless given express permission by race director, Jon Brown.
IF Drone, Livestream, or Ancillaries have technical issues AFTER gate has
dropped, the race will continue uninterrupted.
IF Drone, Livestream, or Ancillaries have technical issues BEFORE gate has
dropped, start sequence will be terminated and race start will be delayed.
Bracket Seeding
If a seeded Semi-finalists drops out, the brackets will be re-seeded with closest
qualifying times up until 9:00 pm 4/25/2025
After cutoff the brackets will not be re-seeded and the open spot will be filled
by next in line from qualifying results.
